Apart from the 2 variations already listed, one also finds: Ramadan Khait (End of Ramadan) and Kurban Khait (Feast of Sacrifice). • Day of Remembrance and Honors (May 9) was formerly called Victory Day. • Day of defenders of the Native land (January 14): although this is listed with the official public holidays on the web site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this is not a public holiday.
