country's holidays observance, and even sometimes news about events that we feel

The prediction of Muslim public
holidays has been improved by the use of the specific calculation methods used
in various Muslim countries. In particular, the Q++ Worldwide public holidays
database now makes predictions using, where appropriate, the LCRSS, MABIMS,
JAKIM, MUIS, ESA and DIB predictive methods.

Database is now available to Q++ Studio Users and to licensees of the
Q++Studio Worldwide Public Holidays Database
from our updates page (note, this is not a text or
Excel file, this updater will only work when imported into an installed version
of Q++ Studio).

The religious holidays

Cambodia,
Myanmar and
Thailand were updated, as we can now predict the holidays for most Buddhist
South-East Asian holidays from first principles. |

1-Sep-2005 |
South Korean holidays were re-defined
using the Korean Lunar calendar rather than the Chinese lunar calendar. This has
an effect on the date of the Lunar New Year, in less than 5% of the cases, in
which cases the date in Korea is one day later than in China. |

Yearly update is
finished. The database now contains 237 countries and territories (all the ones
listed in the
CIA Factbook). |
