Niger has gazetted the loi n° 97-20 du 20 juin 1997 instituting days in lieu public holidays on the Monday that follows a fixed-date public holiday that falls on a Sunday.
As per paragraph 2 of section 2 of the aforementioned law (NER-1997-L-78831), "les lundi suivant un dimanche jour de fête légale sont fériés, chômés et payés sur toute l'étendue du territoire national".
