Niger has gazetted the loi N° 2006-08 du 2 mai 2006 instituting days in lieu public holidays on the Monday that follows a fixed-date public holiday that falls on a Sunday.
As per paragraph 2 of section 2 of the aforementioned law, "les lundi suivant un dimanche jour de fête légale sont fériés, chômés et payés sur toute l'étendue du territoire national".
