The Swiss government has released a draft constitutional reform which includes the explicit listing in the Swiss constitution, of August 1st as a non-working and paid public holiday (jour chômé payé).
The aforementioned change is included in the package handed out to the press prior to today's joint press conference by the 2 commissions in charge of preparing Switzerland's upcoming constitutional reform.
