Taiwan Adds February 28 Public Holiday

Taiwan's legislature has passed a bill making February 28 an annual public holiday.

Though the bill was passed a few days before the 50th anniversary of the February 28th, 1947, killings, this new public holiday will only be effective starting in 1998.
