Mauritania's President has issued Decree 041-98 which declares Wednesday, April 8, 1998, the day after the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, as a one-off public holiday in Mauritania.
The decree, eventually published in the "Journal numéro : 925- du 30/04/1998 - page 291", thus extends the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday for a second day in Mauritania, as often happens for religious public holidays (06-Feb-1997, 26-Apr-1996 and 18-Feb-1996).
