Niger has gazetted the Loi n° 98-05 du 29 avril 1998 (NER-1998-L-53716) overhauling the list of official non-working public holidays in the Niger.
The aforementioned law, "modifiant la loi n° 97-020 du 20 juin 1997 instituant les fêtes légales", changes the list of public holidays in the Niger, but keeps the provisions of last year's (23-Jun-1997) "Loi n° 97-20 du 20 juin 1997 instituant des fêtes légales" which instituted day in lieu public holidays on the Monday that follows a fixed-date public holiday that falls on a Sunday.
