Mauritania's President has issued Decree 018-99 which declares Sunday, March 28, 1999, the day after the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday, as a one-off public holiday in Mauritania.
The decree, eventually published in the "Journal numéro : 948- du 15/04/1999 - page 247 ", thus extends the El Id Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday for a second day in Mauritania, as often happens for religious public holidays in the past (13-Jan-1999, 06-Apr-1998, 06-Feb-1997, 26-Apr-1996 and 18-Feb-1996).
