The Australian Government's Chief Minister and Minister for Finance and Government Services, Ronald Coane Nobbs, has declared the list of 2001 official public holidays in the Norfolk Island.
The 2001 public holidays list, published in the Norfolk Island Government Gazette No. 47 under section 40 of the Public Service Act 1979 and regulation 3 of the Public Sector Management Regulations 2000, and in accordance with section 9 of the Employment Act 1988, includes the Norfolk Island Agricultural Show on October 8, 2001.
