The cabinet of Ministers of Bulgaria has decided that Friday, September 7, 2001, the day after the public holiday celebrating the Union of Eastern Rumelia with the Principality of Bulgaria (on September 6, 1885) would be a one-off bridge public holiday.
This means that Bulgarians will enjoy 4 consecutive non-working days, from Thursday, September 6, to Sunday, September 9, 2001, inclusively.
