The Australian Government's Minister for Tourism and Commerce, George Charles Smith, has declared the list of 2002 official public holidays in the Norfolk Island.
The 2002 public holidays list, announced in accordance with section 9 of the Employment Act 1988, includes the Norfolk Island Agricultural Show on October 14, 2002, as was done in the past (22-Sep-2000) but leaves the Queen’s Birthday public holidays as "yet to be proclaimed".
