The government of the Solomon Islands has declared a one-off Day of National Mourning to commemorate the recent death of Youth, Women and Sports Minister, and South Guadalcanal MP, Fr Augustine Geve.
The government did, however, point out that tomorrow is not a public holiday, and that all work places will remain open and public activities continue as usual.
