The UAE, in a circular signed by Saeed Al Ghaith, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, confirmed that to mark the anniversary of UAE's National Day, Monday and Tuesday, December 2 and 3, 2002, respectively, had been declared a public holiday for ministries and other federal government institutions.
The announcement but did go on to specify that work would resume in the public sector on December 4th.
