The UAE's Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs has announced four days of public sector holidays, beginning on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 (Ramadan 29, 1423 Hijri), on the occasion of the upcoming Eid el Fitr holiday.

This reverses today's earlier announcement (27-Nov-2002) that December 4 would be a working day in the UAE.
