The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued a resolution declaring Friday, February 22, 2002, as a non-working public holiday for the upcoming Id al-Adha celebrations.
The declaration of the Id al-Adha public holiday stems from the presidential decree of June 20, 1991 , but its date is usually announced on a case-by-case basis (23-Feb-2001).
