Bulgaria's Council of Ministers has announced 2 one-off bridge public holidays; Friday, May 2, and Monday, May 5, 2007, which means that, combined with the May 1 and May 6 annual public holidays, Bulgarians will be off work for the 6-day period from Thursday, May 1, to Tuesday, May 6, 2003.
As per custom (04-Mar-2003, 12-Nov-2002, 22-Nov-2001), these one-off public holidays will be compensated by declaring Saturdays as working days.
In compensation, 2 subsequent Saturdays (May 10 and 17) will be regular working days.
