The government of the Cayman Islands has gazetted the Public Holidays Law (2003 Revision).
The Public Holidays Law (2003 Revision) was published in the Cayman Islands Gazette (G14/2003 s7) of Monday, July 14, 2003.
The salient point of this amended version of Cayman Islands public holidays legislation is in section 11 of the schedule which states that "Elections Day is designated as a public holiday".
