Guyana's House Special Select Committee formed to review the Guyana Public Holidays Act met to select representatives to the body, among which the Minister of Home Affairs.
The Committee, whose creation was approved by the house earlier this year (11-Apr-2003), agreed to garner public opinion about including May 5 and May 26 as public holidays.
