The government of Mauritania has gazetted a decree instituting a new annual non-working public holiday on May 25, for Africa Day.
The relevant decree, the "Décret n° 117-2003 du 10 décembre 2003 instituant une journée fériée" was published in the "Journal officiel" (2003-12-30, n° 1061, p. 480).
