The recently approved amended Labour Code of Moldova (Codul Muncii al Republicii Moldova), Nr.154-XV, includes in its article 111, the official list of public holidays in Moldova.
In addition to the 11 public holidays listed, the amended labour code allows for the declaration of regional and municipal public holidays in each commune.
