The Singapore Ministry of Manpower has announced that the upcoming Deepavali would fall on Friday, October 24, 2003.
In a press release on public holidays for 2003, released on 4 March 2002 (04-Mar-2002), the Ministry announced that Deepavali would fall on 23 October 2003 (Thursday) based on estimated calculations.
