UAE Declares Eid Al Adha Public Holiday For Private Sector

The UAE's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Dr Khalid Al Khazraji, has announced that all private sector companies in the UAE will have three days of public holidays for the upcoming Eid Al Adha, starting from Monday, February 10, 2003.

The Undersecretary noted that banks are considered part of the private sector and their staff had the right to enjoy a three-day holiday.
