The UAE's Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs has announced a public sector holiday for Tuesday, March 4, 2003, on the occasion of the upcoming first day of the new Islamic calendar year of 1424 Hijri.
As such, on that date, all ministries and other government institutions in the country will be closed.
