The government of Uzbekistan has issued a resolution announcing that, Tuesday, November 25, 2003, the first day of the Id al-Fitr Muslim festival marking the end of Ramadan, would be a non-working public holiday.
The declaration of Muslim public holidays, and their date, is usually done on a case-by-case basis in Uzbekistan (04-Dec-2002).
