Cameroon Declares October 11 Public Holiday

Cameroon's President of the Republic, Paul Biya, has signed a decree declaring Monday, October 11, 2004, as a one-off public holiday throughout the national territory.

This is contained in the "Decree N°2004/223 Of 11 September 2004 To Convene The Electorate For The Election Of The President Of The Republic", is based on the terms of law n° 92/10 of September 17, 1992, as amended and supplemented by law n° 97/20 of September 9, 1997.
