Ghana Declares November 15 Public Holiday

A statement from the Ministry of the Interior announced that the President of Ghana had declared Monday, November 15, 2004, as a public holiday.

This was done to compensate the fact that this year's celebration of the Eid Ul-Fitr, which is a Statutory Public Holiday, and which falls on Saturday, November 13, this year.
