Macau Declares February 8 Public Holiday

Macau's Chief Executive has declared a one-off, half-day, public holiday for the afternoon of Tuesday, February 8, 2005.

This announcement, made under the purview of the "Decree Law No. 60/2000 on Public Holidays", will allow for an early start to the annual, 3-day, Lunar New Year public holiday.
