Public Law 13-38 of the Federated States of Micronesia was signed on June 23, 2004, and states that the eleventh day of November of each year, is to be an official public holiday designated as FSM Veterans of Foreign Wars Day.
The bill goes on to say that theis new public holiday was declared "to commemorate those citizens of the Federated States of Micronesia serving in Foreign Wars through its services in the Armed Forces of the United States of America".
