Nicaragua's Ministerio del Trabajo (Mitrab) has declared a one-off, public sector holiday for the afternoon of Tuesday, December 7, 2004.
In the same communique, MITRAB announced that the public sector would also be on holidays from the evening of December 17, 2004, until the morning of the first Monday in January, 2005.
The declaration of the afternoon of December 7 as a public holiday is not systematic, but it has occurred in the past (04-Dec-2000).
