Peru's President, Alejandro Toledo, signed decree Nº 046-2004-PCM which sets out in advance the 2005 list of official public sector holidays in Peru.
The dates of these pubic sector bridge holidays, in 2005, are: Monday May 2, Friday, October 7, and Monday December 26.
This announcement, and the previous year's one (28-Feb-2003), covering the entire year, ahead of time, is meant to replace the piecemeal declaration of civil service bridge public holidays that occurred in the past (28-Nov-2002 and 19-Oct-2001).
