Thailand To Consider June 11-16 Public Holidays

(Posted on Monday, March 15, 2004)

Source: National News Bureau of Thailand (Bangkok)

Thailand's Ministry of Public Health has announced that it will request the Cabinet to declare the period of July 11-16, 2004, as one-off non-working public holidays, on account of the World Aids Conference to be held at that time.

This announcement is reminescent of past one-off public holidays announcements when other international conferences came to Thailand (07-Aug-2003 and 20-Jan-2000).
