The Fiji Governing Cabinet has approved the list of the dates of public holidays for the year 2006.
Note that, once again, both Youth Day and the Queen's Birthday are included in the official list of Fiji public holidays, despite the fact that both holidays were canceled in 2002 (06-Jan-2002).
In addition, the Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara public holiday, which was originally declared as a one-off public holiday (21-Apr-2004), is again listed in the 2006 official public holidays in Fiji.
