The government of Guyana has announced that the Youman Nabi, birth anniversary of the Prophet, public holiday, would be commemorated on Friday, April 22, 2005.
As usual (26-Apr-2004), the aforementioned announcement comes shortly after the announcement by Guyana's Central Islamic Organisation (CIOG) that the Muslim month of Rabiul-Awal had begun yesterday.
