Iran Declares Public Holiday For Jashn Sadeh

The governement of Iran has announced that Friday, January 28, 2005, would be a public holiday on account of that day's Jashn e Sadeh Zoroastrians holiday.

This is the 3rd consecutive year that the Iranian government declares a last-minute, one-off, public holiday for this holiday which is traditionally celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Bahman of the Persian calendar.
