The government of Kenya has published the Gazette Notice 8443, "Declaration Of A Public Holiday Iddul-Fitr", which declares Friday, November 4th, 2005, as a public holiday, marking Idd- ul-Fitr.
The measure, taken in accordance with The Public Holidays Act (Cap. 110), by the Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of Public Service, F. K. Muthaura.
