Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister, Wissanu Krea-Ngam, has announced that the Thai Cabinet has declared a 4-day period of year-end non-working public holiday, from December 31st, 2005 to January 3rd, 2006.

The announcement also confirmed yesterday's announcement that Thailand's Cabinet had approved Wednesday, April 19th, 2006, as the date of the upcoming senatorial election day and an official non-working public holiday (15-Nov-2005).
