The UAE's Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Dr. Ali Al Ka'abi, has announced that Thursday, September 1st, 2005, would be a public holiday for the UAE's private sector, in conjunction with the upcoming Al Israa wal Miraaj anniversary.
Yesterday (28-Aug-2005), in a similar announcement, the UAE's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs announced that that this year's Al Israa wal Miraaj public sector holidays would run from August 31 to Friday, September 2, 2005.
