The UAE's Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs has announced that Wednesday, April 20, 2005, would be officially observed as a public sector holiday by all of the UAE's ministries, and public departments.
With the civil service weekends running Thursdays and Fridays, this means that this year's birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammed public sector holidays will run from April 20 to 22, 2005, inclusively.
