The government of Vanuatu has gazetted the Public Holidays (Amendment) Act No. 50 Of 2005 which adds a new February public holiday for Father Lini Day.
The last time a public holiday was added in Vanuatu was in 1993, when the Public Holidays (Amendment) Act No. 17 Of 1993 added the July 24, Children's National Day public holiday.
