Argentina Declares December 22 and 29 Public Sector Holidays

National and provincial civil servants will get 2 additional public holidays, on December 22 and 29, 2006. However, municipal employees in Buenos Aires will not.

In addition, the Supreme Court (Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación) has announced that December 22 and 29, 2006, will be judicial holidays, in accordance with presidential decree 1893/06 and the judicial accord 37/2006.
