The Kyrgyz government announced today that Monday, January 9, 2006 would be a non-working day (one-off bridge public holiday) to link the weekend to the Kurman Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday.
The date of this year's Kurman Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday was declared yesterday as Tuesday, January 10, 2006 (04-Jan-2006).
