This year the Tsagaan Sar, Lunar New Year, will be celebrated from January 29 to 31, with the public holiday starting on the 30th, as the 29th is Bituun (the Eve of Tsagaan Sar). January 30th, will be Shiniin Negen the first day of Year of the Dog.
