The legislature of the Northern Marianas Islands (aka. Saipan) have voted Public Law 15-27, which institutes the concept of Austerity Fridays, forcing an unpaid public service holiday, on every second Friday.
Not surprisingly, the Governor, legislators and the judiciary branch are exempted from these austerity Fridays cuts.
