The Chairman of the Central Ruet-i- Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, announced that the Zilhaj moon has not been sighted anywhere in the country on Thursday and that the first of Zilhaj will fall on December 23, 2006.
The Eid ul Azha will therefore be celebrated in the country on January 1, 2007.
