Peru's President, Alejandro Toledo, signed decree Nº 015-2006-PCM which sets out in advance the 2006 list of official public sector holidays in Peru.
The preamble to the decree states that the aim of the decree is to codify and regroup into one annual decree all the one-off decrees of 2003-2005 (such as 26-Aug-2005).
The dates listed in Decreto Supremo Nº 015-2006-PCM are: Friday June 30, Thursday July 27, and Monday October 9, 2006.
For the sake of completeness, to these 3 dates, must be added, the date of January 2, 2006, which was declared an official public sector holiday, separately, by Decreto Supremo Nº 100-2005-PCM, of December 28, 2005 (29-Dec-2005).
