Russia Amends Public Holidays Date Changes Rules

Amendments to the Labor Code came into force on October 6, 2006.

These include a procedure that permits the federal government to change the days on which public holidays fall and a clarification of the issues related to paying monetary compensation in lieu of a holiday.
