Source: El Comercio

In 2007, the Principado de Asturias autonomous region will celebrate the Día de Asturias on September 8. This will be the only public holiday, observed in the Asturias, that will be distinct from the 9 public holidays common to the rest of Spain.

In 2007, there will be 9 common public holidays, nationwide. As published last month in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), these are the usual: Jan-1, Good Friday, May-1, Asunción de la Virgen, Fiesta Nacional de España, Día de Todos los Santos, Día de la Constitución, Día de la Inmaculada Concepción, and Navidad.
