Togo Declares Solar Eclipse Public Holiday

The Togolese government has declared a public holiday, on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, on account of the full eclipse of the Sun that is expected on that date.

As the eclipse is expected to begin at 8 h 02 and end at 10 h 33, local time, the aforementioned public holiday will be a half-day morning public holiday only.
