US Virgin Islands 2006-2007 Year-End Public Holidays

The Governor of the US Virgin Islands, Charles W. Turnbull, has declared year-end public sector holidays for December 2006 and January 2007.

As per the aforementioned announcement, US Virgin Islands nonessential government employees will get the morning off to celebrate J'ouvert and time off for the swearing-in ceremonies of Gov.- elect John de Jongh and Lt. Gov.-elect Gregory Francis.
