The Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan announced that December 20 and 21 would be the dates for the public holiday celebration of religious holiday Gurban Bayrami (Eid al-Adha, or Feast of Sacrifice).
This announcement was made in the context of Decree 264 of December 19, 2006, fixing the dates and extent of movable religious public holidays for the year 2007 (27-Dec-2006).
Whether Saturday, December 22, as a working day or not, is left to each employer's discretion.
